MSc Chemical Engineering graduate from Imperial College London with hands-on experience in materials characterisation, process simulation, and sustainable chemical technologies. Strong background in laboratory operations, data analysis, and multi-disciplinary R&D collaboration. Seeking research, process development, or materials engineering roles in industry or academia.
National Cheng Kung University Bike Festival, 2021-02-01
Strengthened interpersonal skills and engaged effectively with diverse audiences. Represented the Chemical Engineering Department at a university-wide outreach event, delivering subject introductions and booth activities.
Liquid-phase exfoliation of graphite using a bespoke parallel disc system (2025-06-01, 2025-09-01) Operated a newly developed parallel-disc exfoliation rig (2-10 mm gap, 1995 rpm) and identified that counter-rotation favours thinner, higher-quality flakes, whereas co-rotation increases exfoliation yield with rpm., Sub-critical shear conditions enabled reproducible MLG (multi-layer graphene) dispersions, underscoring industrial scalability.
Formaldehyde sustainable production design (2024-10-01, 2025-01-01)
Modelled a 70,000 t/y formaldehyde plant with Cu/ZnO/Al₂O₃ and Fe-Mo catalysts, applying pinch-based HEN optimisation., Achieved ~89% CO₂-to-methanol conversion and 96.9% selectivity to formaldehyde; reduced energy use to 128.6 GJ/h and saved ~€30m/year., Performed LCA showing 1.495 kgCO₂-eq/kg product, highlighting improvement paths with renewable H₂ and refrigerants.
