Project task: Conducted a 3,000-word econometric study on UK inflation (2000–2023) using cointegration and ECM models with Stata
Project Responsibilities:

• Led a research team investigating short-term determinants of UK inflation, managing task allocation, progress tracking, and ensuring timely, high-quality project delivery.
• Supervised and guided data processing and econometric modelling using Stata, including seasonal adjustments, logarithmic transformations, and the construction of Error Correction Models (ECM) and Engle-Granger cointegration tests.
• Conducted empirical analysis of the impact of oil prices, money supply, and unemployment on short-run inflation fluctuations, and formulated differentiated policy recommendations regarding monetary policy and energy dependence.

Key Achievements:

• Delivered actionable policy insights, including reducing energy dependence and maintaining forward-looking monetary policies.
• Project was highly evaluated by faculty and recognized as a valuable reference for future academic research.

• Led the overall planning and execution of a university exhibition, managing a 5-member team
• Coordinated on-campus and external resources, oversaw budget and on-site setup, and resolved unforeseen issues
• Successfully hosted 11 Canadian university admissions representatives to provide student consultations
• Attracted 200+ students, ensuring smooth and efficient event operation
