Teamwork:

As a member and instructor in a local karate club, I work with my fellow black belts to teach young people and members of differing abilities I am always approachable and friendly

Communication:

I am a student representative at college In this role I need to communicate the views of my fellow students to improve college life This role requires me to interact with faculty, staff and my peers My interpersonal skills have developed as a result

Independence:

Although I enjoy working in a group, I also like to work on my own At college, I regularly take on independent tasks such as extended reading I have good time management skills and I enjoy a mix of team work and self directed activities

Critical Thinking:

I enjoy evaluating situations and forming my own judgments I have an analytical mind and an eye for detail I like to be challenged and I enjoy problem solving I work well when I am asked to think through problem and come up with options
