Enthusiasm, sophistication, positivity, hard work; these are just some of the things I know I offer to anywhere I am employed. I am extremely hard working, 15 hours daily for weeks at a time can be tiring yet the need to achieve goals and targets is always what keeps me going. I have always been willing to do whatever I can to achieve what I need so long as it is morally correct. I am naturally good at talking to people, as a confident and eager to learn young man, this has pushed me to excel in everything I apply myself to. working with customers has been something I appreciate and intend to pursue in my career going forward.
I have strong experience in customer care and ensuring clients are always satisfied and their needs have been met, I find great joy in helping people achieve what they need and want.
Future Industrial Services
Currently I am employed by Future Industrial Services, I have worked here since March 2022, and in this time I have built a reputable name for myself. I am known for working long, hard hours and always being my best. My Job involves carrying out work in fast paced, dangerous environments where often times it can be a case of life and death. I have learned through this job that there are 3 key aspects to being successful in any job, the first is turning up, doing what is required and nothing less, I strive to be my best and always push myself.
The second is to build strong relationships with the clients you work with, it is vital to always ensure customer satisfaction. A strong bond with a client is what I strive for, a customer should always feel secure, connected, and informed. They should always feel important.
Finally, the third thing I have learned is the importance of a healthy work environment, working for future I am often put in teams; working 15 hours a day 7 days a week with 5 or 6 men can be challenging, especially in hot and dangerous environments where tensions can get high. If a teammate feels left out or lesser it can bring the whole team morale down and for a team to achieve its best everyone must feel included and important. (Although I do find friendly competition to be one of the more motivating factors in work and life in general.)
Currently my title is environmental and industrial services operative, I am contracted to 40 hours a week although i have never worked that little. My usual week consists of 60-80 hours which can be worked through nights or days, I am always eager to work more because I find it helps me feel fulfilled. on occasion I have worked 19/20-hour days and this is where I find self-motivation, resilience, positivity and discipline shine the most.
My duties at Future involve talking with clients about jobs explaining how and why things are being done the way they are and ensuring they are always happy. I am also responsible for ensuring paperwork is signed and completed, the risk assessments are followed and understood and that everyone around me is comfortable with what we are doing, this requires excellent communication skills, if misunderstood it can result in fatal mistakes. My ability to be a quick learner is what has really excelled myself in this company because in the time I have been employed it has allowed me to gain an understanding of why we do things the way we do and even educate new employees on how things should be done. Often in my role, plans change, there is a general procedure to follow however clients are always wanting more or changing how they want things done, this has made me adaptable, and quick thinking its also made me a good listener which I believe is the key to successful communication.
The Midland Tapas is a high profile restaurant that attracts affluent and exclusive customers, during my time working here I had built a strong relationship with many of the returning customers and left a fantastic impression on customers i had only met once.
I learned many skills whilst employed here :
These are just some of the most important skills I had learned whilst working at The Midland.
I would often be congratulated by the owner of the chain for having fantastic personal reviews written about me on websites such as TripAdvisor, to the extent that I was offered to be put through an apprenticeship course in restaurant and bar management. As a result of my age at the time I was unable to carry this out because I had to relocate.
I have a certificate in CCNSG, this is the Client contractor national safety group
