I am a driven and organised aspiring Building Surveyor with experience supporting Studio West Architects, gaining valuable insight into design processes, drawings and the wider built environment with lots of knowledge gained from sight visits to ongoing builds. I am currently working in debt recovery in the water sector; I have developed excellent communication negotiation and analytical skills while managing complex cases and delivering positive outcomes. My achievements include receiving an award recognised from over 300 nominees, demonstrating my dedication, resilience and ability to a high standard. I am eager to combine my practical experience, interest in property and commitment to learning through a Degree Apprenticeship in Building Surveying. I would relish the opportunity to build a successful career in the construction industry and become a Chartered Surveyor.

  • - During my time of unemployment, I continued to work on my clothing brand I had set up a year prior. I used these 5 months to grow the brand and was working on it continuously.
  • - I was also involved in setting up a modular housing development company with Neil Wall who runs an architecture firm in Cornwall. I spent most days of the week in these 5 months working on this alongside my clothing brand. I was responsible for contacting potential investors; I was the driving force for the company whilst Neil was producing designs.
  • - I tried to push these business ventures during this time as I was incredibly interested in running my own business and expanding my working experience as much as possible.

INTERESTS

Skills and Hobbies: Played a high level of football with various teams including coaching and playing. Accomplishments in school, club, and regional levels. Nailsea United Football Club: Back-to-back "Player of the Year" awards and nominated for Nailsea School Sports Personality 2022. Gym and Physical Exercise, dedicated to maintaining physical fitness through gym workouts, football training, and occasional running, socialising, weekly football matches. I am currently studying A level Psychology and Business alongside my full-time role with Pelican Business Services.

  • - During my time in college, I honed essential organisational skills which allowed me to develop myself as a person and during my work life. Through face 2 face assessments in college, I developed my communication skills which will greatly benefit me in a working environment
  • - Out of 300 people nominated, I was awarded the Best Breakthrough award for Pelican Business Services in the first year of my time spent with the company. The award was granted to me for consistently hitting targets and making a positive impact on my first year of being with the company, whilst training on multiple different processes and procedures highlighting my ability to be versatile and to adapt to different working situations.
