After leaving university and Bristol, I moved to Camberley and began working at BJF, where I have found myself in a good position to learn a multitude of skills and work which I either had curiosities about, or did not think I would get the chance to try. A prime example for me is my previous lack of experience working in an office, in any capacity. Since joining I have managed to maintain my work as a water engineer, whilst begining to learn and practice administrative duties in and around the office - to which I have greatly enjoyed, and suprised myself with how comfortable I feel in the role.
Ensured safety regulations by weekly flushing of low usage water outlets, preventing bacterial risks such as legionella, and maintaining updated logs. Managed efficient operation of commercial and domestic water softeners by topping up necessary salts.
Supported team members across various roles, primarily in plumbing tasks, demonstrating strong teamwork and collaboration to enhance overall team effectiveness.
Provided administrative support to managers and team members.
