William Pannell

• Led on internal communications on COVID across a front-line establishment, with ~5000 military and civilian personnel through the C-19 pandemic, in tandem with teams across the MoD
• Wrote policy and guidance to align operations with government regulations, keeping 6 flying squadrons able to maintain output throughout

· Managed diplomatic clearances for civilian and military personnel visiting the Benelux countries

· Represented the UK at Official events and commemorations including multiple events for the 75th Anniversary remembering the end of WWII, hosting Government ministers and Royalty

· Regularly gave speeches at large events, including being televised and recorded

• Spent time embedded within a public/private partnership streamlining the way the RN uses large datasets from its 30,000 personnel and multiple physical assets, achieving good knowledge of SQL and databasing
• Upgraded hardware and software regularly for optimised systems performance.
• Served as non-executive member on 2 promotions boards for RN ratings
• Helped create a final product that allow fully customisable data queries across any element of the data the Navy holds.

• A PR, Marketing, and communications consultancy specialising in the asset management sector, representing over 40 clients Worldwide
• Advised 10+ clients on their public facing profiles; and developing media strategies, as well as editing the company blog - creating content calendars and managing 6 colleagues' individual submissions
• Managed a large workload effectively, with clients across 15+ countries - including infrequent work in the Nordics, and in German language
• Placed clients on BBC news (video and radio), Bloomberg TV, and in publications including the FT, The Times, The Telegraph, The Guardian, and The Economist
• Aided clients with their social media, blogs, podcasts, and video.

• Organised and ran political events around my policy brief.
