• Quality technician primary role of raising and verifying AS9102 FAIRS for Rolls Royce / BAE / Airbus / Bombardier, ensuring all specifications, drawings and customer requirements are adhered too and recorded as per AS9102

• Logging all transactions to log cards and documenting findings, liaising with multiple departments to ensure the process proceeds to a very tight schedule and budget constraints

• Operating the ANPR Van and using multiple computer systems in the process of enforcement of road tax, Working very closely with Gwent And South Wales police forces in the apprehension of un-taxed vehicles on the public highway
• Designed an access database for the storage of intelligence gathered on un-taxed vehicles, To improve our hit ratio when in particular areas of operation

• Assisting customers with their online queries, working with various internet service providers, including Virgin.Net and Tesco.Net

• Controlling the Non-Conforming stock from within the factory into a caged quarantined area, Including all Baan computerised transactions and physical control of items within that caged area
• Implemented a controlled system for quarantine and transformed the process to an average time of an hour from what was previously taking days

• Hastening parts through the factory for an urgent project, This included liaising within the factory with buyers and also outside agencies
• Collating data from multiple sources and keeping the project team informed of developments, Most of this was done via email and meetings

• Inspecting of various mechanical parts to a specified level and ensuring 100% conformance to that standard, using any relevant measuring equipment required for the role
• Raising relevant paperwork for the inspection at hand
• Required to travel throughout the South Wales area
• Promoted to team leader to run a team of 36 inspectors, Working three shift patterns and weekend coverage too
• Liaising with company representatives and training of new inspectors to the required standard
• Organising shift patterns, Processing time sheets and various other personnel issues
