William Durk

Whilst studying Performing Arts at college, I have had to work as part of a cast to produce performances. I am good at keeping the group focused on the task in hand and not afraid to challenge others in group discussions if needed.

I was chosen for a key part in my first graded performance because I am trusted member of my class. I worked hard to learn my lines and demonstrated that I understood how time critical that was to the performance.

Acting and being at college has really helped me to become more confident.

• I like going to the theatre and recently enjoyed watching Hamilton at the Mayflower. I have also watched a number of West End performances. I am going to New York later this year to watch Broadway Shows as part of my course at college.
• I am on the waiting list for the Mayflower Youth theatre, as I am moving to Romsey in June and this will be a fantastic local group for me to join.
