  • After leaving school I joined collage to start an apprenticeship in butchery at Pyne’s of Somerset, after 8 months I left to find more fulfilling work but I left with key skills in the trade such as breaking down hole carcasses, jointing cuts, knife sharping and customer communication.
  • Developed practical skills for enhanced productivity through hands-on training.
  • Adapted quickly to changing work requirements, maintaining high-performance standards under pressure.
  • Adhered strictly to company policies and procedures, promoting a professional clean and productive work atmosphere.

Building labour

Wessex Water/Taunton Property Service
  • Soon after I found myself as a building labour under the wing of a couple very capable men in the fields of painting, plastering, brick/block laying, carpentry, roofing, plumbing, concreating, tar mating, ground excavating, some electrical fitting and patio laying. This Company soon grow to adopt Wessex Water contracts all across the south of the country and so my skills grew to, acquiring qualifications of CPCS A58 Excavator 360 degrees- below 10 tonnes, A40CD Slinger Signaller course for 360 Excavators, CAT AND Genny Training and City and Guilds Medium Risk Entrant and Entry Controller for Confined Spaces: 6160-09.

Acquired extensive knowledge and practical experience such as patient extraction(with competency and confidence to be in charge of operation) , stethoscope diagnostics, internal and external fractures, bleed controls, miner amputations, concussion recognition, multiple patient scenarios.
  • Worked flexible hours, covering nights, weekends and bank holidays.
