• After leaving school I joined collage to start an apprenticeship in butchery at Pyne’s of Somerset, after 8 months I left to find more fulfilling work but I left with key skills in the trade such as breaking down hole carcasses, jointing cuts, knife sharping and customer communication.
• Developed practical skills for enhanced productivity through hands-on training.
• Adapted quickly to changing work requirements, maintaining high-performance standards under pressure.
• Adhered strictly to company policies and procedures, promoting a professional clean and productive work atmosphere.

• Soon after I found myself as a building labour under the wing of a couple very capable men in the fields of painting, plastering, brick/block laying, carpentry, roofing, plumbing, concreating, tar mating, ground excavating, some electrical fitting and patio laying. This Company soon grow to adopt Wessex Water contracts all across the south of the country and so my skills grew to, acquiring qualifications of CPCS A58 Excavator 360 degrees- below 10 tonnes, A40CD Slinger Signaller course for 360 Excavators, CAT AND Genny Training and City and Guilds Medium Risk Entrant and Entry Controller for Confined Spaces: 6160-09.

• Other Employment/Part time: Blacksmithing, I have done a lot of privet commissions in my spare time with 8 years of experience I am very competent and knowledgeable in matters of Ferrous.
• Utilised traditional blacksmithing methods to preserve authenticity in restorative projects.
• Mastered modern as well as traditional blacksmithing techniques; versatility appreciated by wide range of clients.
• Quickly learnt advanced blacksmithing techniques for custom projects.
• Used critical thinking to break down problems, evaluate solutions and make decisions.

• Historical Building Restoration: learnt traditional methods of oak framing/jointing, Lime mortar mixes, Lime plastering and stone masonry. Most of which was learnt on Cotheltstone Gate House.

• Medical work: I Acquired a high interested for Medical knowledge form many close shaves on the family farm and myself living a very dangerous life style. I was adopted by Somerset and Dorset Medical Event Serves and eventually put through appropriate training; Qualsafe Level 3 Award in Administering Emergency Medical Gases and First Response Emergency Care. Acquired extensive knowledge and practical experience such as patient extraction(with competency and confidence to be in charge of operation) , stethoscope diagnostics, internal and external fractures, bleed controls, miner amputations, concussion recognition, multiple patient scenarios.
• Worked flexible hours, covering nights, weekends and bank holidays.
• Displayed energy and enthusiasm in fast-paced environment.

• Tree felling, fire wood processing and annual coppicing for the farms woodland management.
• All aspects of agriculture from crop growing, animal breeding/rearing, milking, farm machinery Maintenance and pest controlling.
• Assisted in the birth of lambs, aided their survival rate.
• Handled minor veterinary duties like administering medication to sick animals; promoted animal welfare.
