Affiliations

  • My interests outside of my academic career lie in the sporting world, mainly playing rugby union. I began playing rugby at 5 years of age, going on to compete at various levels in the sport from club and school level, up to the county level for Yorkshire as I took part in the England Rugby Development Player Programme. I also enjoy playing 5-a-side football with my friends and going fishing in the countryside when I need to relax. Recently, I've taken an interest in indoor climbing/bouldering, a sport that not only challenges you physically, but also mentally as you require problem solving skills and patience to succeed.
