I am a fully qualified Fitter/Welder with 10 years' experience. I have recently worked with Link Force in Perth, WA as a fixed plant fitter, attending shutdowns within the iron ore and gold mining industries. Previously i had been self-employed for 4 years' working within the timber processing industry. Before I became self-employed I gained 1-years' experience working in an engineering jobbing shop with contracts to both forestry and earth-works industries. Prior to this I had 5 years' experience working within the timber processing industry. I have also held positions as a treatment plant operator, trainee printer and customer services rep within the dive industry. I currently hold a contract with Waipapa Pine LTD, carrying out planned maintenance schedules and assisting in machinery fabrication/installation projects. Over the last 10 years I have completed the National Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Maintenance Engineering Level 4. During this time, I have had training in all aspects of maintenance engineering, which includes preventative maintenance, fault diagnostics and general equipment servicing. I have also had extensive training and experience in heavy fabrication where I gained my welding certification AS 2980:2007, plant installation and commissioning via on site project activities. Health and safety has been a cornerstone of my training which has allowed me to approach everything I do in the workplace with safety first and foremost. I have had extensive training and I can obtain all relevant health and safety certificates for completing tasks safely. I am a dedicated and hard-working individual that strives to produce quality workmanship, and I am confident I would make a great addition to your team.
