  • After the premature departure of Undeb Aberystwyth's President, I took up his responsibilities alongside my role as the Academic Affairs Officer.
  • The President serves as the official representative of the Students' Union and the students of Aberystwyth University. I collaborate regularly with the Full-time Officer team to review key student issues and support representational and political campaigns that align with student needs at Aberystwyth University.
  • As the primary advocate for Aberystwyth University students, I participate in various senior committees and engage with key stakeholders to maintain strong relationships between the Union, the University, and the wider community. Additionally, I am responsible for ensuring the Union's representation at a national level by acting as the main contact for the NUS and NUS Wales.
  • As Chair of the Trustee Board, I work closely with the Union's Chief Executive to achieve the Union's strategic objectives, ensure policy compliance, and make decisions that reflect the values of its members.
  • Finally, the President acts as the public face of the Union by issuing press statements, conducting interviews, and responding to member feedback and concerns.
