During my time at Waitrose & Partners Malmesbury, I spent the majority of my days as a supervisor for the payment department. This role would consist of guiding providing my attention to all customers needs, queries and problems to make sure that each and every customer would receive the best service and experience possible. At Waitrose it's an essential value to give the customers the best experience each time they came to our store. Other duties of Payment Supervisor also included - assigning partners (colleagues) to the tasks or customers in need of attention, assessing to make sure every partner is on top of their tasks and duties, ensuring all sections of payment is being manned, keeping track and controlling partners breaks throughout their shifts, overall ensuring everything was going smoothly and correctly. My time as supervisor, I gained great skills like customer care and time management, it was essential to me that I provided everything that each customer needed, to ensure they achieved everything they hoped for. My time as Supervisor of payment in the Malmesbury branch came to an end on Christmas Eve 2024, so that I could begin my experience travelling Asia in the new year. Overall, this job taught me key skills and how to build great relationships with customers.
