Third-seat trainee at Broadfield UK with ambitions to develop a practice in planning, infrastructure and public law. I have a particular interest in the exercise of compulsory purchase powers, parliamentary agency work, and the intersection of infrastructure consenting and net zero obligations. A previous career in the film industry with a demonstrable track record of complex project management, successful team-working and excellent communication skills.

Before transitioning to law, I developed and led on programmes within several leading UK arts organisations including: the British Film Institute (as Curator of Contemporary Fiction from 2017-2021); the British Council (as Senior Programme Manager in the Film Department from 2011-2017); and North West Vision & Media (as New Talent Development and Film Executive from 2009-2011).
This wide-ranging experience involving managing funds, managing teams, acting regularly as an institutional spokesperson, the strategic development of stakeholder engagement, and complex international project delivery in (amongst other places) Cuba, Mexico, Colombia, Argentina and Venezuela.
2024 - present: co-ordination of Broadfield's pro bono clinic with the South West London Law Centre
2021 - present: Trustee and board member for the Independent Cinema Office
2016: Development and delivery of Introduction to Screenwriting with Synergy Theatre Company. I led a 10-week course, working with ex-prisoners on the creation of a first draft of a short film screenplay.
