
I am a reliable, organised individual that is self motivated to complete my work to a high standard and work hard to meet deadlines. I have a thorough understanding of facilities management, property maintenance and overseeing that work is completed in line with correct health and safety principles.
My role within Wellington Motor Group comprises of a wide variety of facilities management and commercial property maintenance across various sites in the South West. It is a self motivated role, which requires me to ensure that the needs of the business are met in a timely and prioritised manner, through organising relevant qualified contractors and utilising my own hands on skill set.
Some of my current responsibilities are:
- Ensuring pre planned maintenance tasks are carried out as per required schedule, and that spreadsheets are maintained and updated detailing works scheduled and completed. This includes PAT testing, emergency light testing, boiler servicing, HVAC maintenance, workshop equipment servicing etc.
- Organising contractors quickly, and cost effectively to carry out reactive maintenance. Where required completing reactive maintenance myself.
- Working with the HR director to ensure the business is compliant with health and safety standards and minimising risks wherever possible for both employees and members of the public.
- Project managing complete property renovations to comply with strict and exacting franchise standards across all areas of the business, including showrooms, workshops, car parks and signage.
- Ensuring contractors submit method statements and risk assessment prior to the commencement of planned works.
- Ensuring all facilities and property pass quarterly audits by the relevant brand for franchise sites within the company.
- Highlight areas or issues with facilities and the properties to directors offering better or more cost effective solutions.
- Quantify and cost larger projects for the Managing Director to review ahead of works commencing.
- Maintain a good working relationship with trusted contractors and suppliers.
Working as a car sales executive allowed me to gain many valuable skills including building strong and personable relationships with customers, meeting demanding sales targets and being a self motivated employee.
