I am currently working as an operative in Permanent way (PWAY) for network rail. I thoroughly enjoy my job. I enjoy how you have a lot of mentally challenging jobs where you often have to think on your feet to get the job done keeping to the strict time scale we have, to keep trains running and keeping passengers getting to there destination in a safe and time;y manner. Since starting at Network Rail i have definetily improved on my knowledge and skills, and feel cofident enough to do alot of jobs on my own but also confident enough to ask for help or guidence on jobs. I definetly take pride in getting my work done in time and to a high standard whilst also keeping myself and my colleagues safe, and i will put safety above everything. ( everybody home safe every day).

• I am Currently working on the railway on weekends as well as doing my full time job at railway sleepers in the week. I am hoping to gain enough experience and knowledge to be able to join the railway full time.

• Handled service, maintenance and general upkeep of depot equipment and fleet.
