As a student, my work experience is still developing, but I have already gained valuable skills through several part-time roles. These positions have helped me build strong customer service, communication, teamwork, and organisational skills in fast-paced working environments.
I am confident interacting with customers, remaining calm under pressure, and maintaining high standards of professionalism and presentation. I am reliable, hardworking, and quick to learn new systems, procedures, and ways of working. I work well as part of a team but am also comfortable working independently and using my initiative when needed.
In addition, I have strong computer skills and can adapt quickly to different tasks and situations. I am enthusiastic, flexible, and eager to develop new skills, making me well suited to a range of roles in retail, hospitality, customer service, and other busy workplace environments.
Successfully secured a place on 'The Schools Observatory' at Liverpool University in July 2023 ran by the Astrophysics Research Institute. This was a residential experience for only 50 students from over 600 UK applicants.
I enjoy live music and since starting University I have been learning to play the guitar and have now acquired 3 to compliment different styles of playing. I find it a really good way to relax.
When not playing guitar I like to spend my time customising clothing by sewing on my own homemade patches which can be sold online.
I enjoy watching documentaries and since moving to Aberystwyth I am enjoying spending more time outdoors.
