Develop a wide range of contacts, with the ability to link in with multiple areas of the business to reach a positive outcome, then to liaise with residents, Parish and County Councillors.
To assist in the training and development of staff, sharing gained knowledge to encourage progression and build a strong team.
Lead the provision of excellent Customer, Member, Media and Stakeholder links, ensuring the correct response is provided for all highway management matters and Via is promoted.
To assist with and conduct Members' Briefs to make key stakeholders aware of past and future schemes within their geographical area.
Design and manage the delivery and implementation of highway improvement schemes, such as Traffic Regulation Orders, signs, and street furniture.
Being responsible for the consultation of traffic orders on behalf of clients to ensure that the legal process is followed correctly. Investigate objections and enquiries relating to traffic regulation orders received from residents and key stakeholders.
Provide design and technical advice in the area of permanent Traffic Regulation Orders, highway signage and lining for internal and external clients, as well as identifying any wider potential concerns that may have a future impact on the scheme.
Act as a lead for individual schemes, providing information and advise where required.
To assist in the administration of Penalty Charge Notices, payments and associated legal documentation necessary for administration of the Traffic Management Act 2004.
To ensure Penalty Charge Notice progress their legal lifecycle, from the PCN being issued to enforcement by Agents, as defined within the Traffic Management Act 2004 and The Civil Enforcement of Parking Contraventions General Regulations 2007.
Assist in the reconciliation of cash and other income received by the CPU through the processes of the cash office.
To respond to appeals and enquiries at multiple stages of the PCNs life, providing the appropriate response and advice by taking in to account all available information that has been providing by both the Civil Enforcement Officer and the vehicle owner.
