I am dedicated, organised and hard working. I love getting involved in a wide range of activities including leading clubs and volunteering, and these have taught me to interact well with others. I think I would thrive in a customer facing, skilful role, and even though I have no formal job experience, I am a quick learner and can adapt to new positions quickly.
(No formal employment history)
I volunteer at the Confirmation classes at SJB Cathedral. I generally help out with the setup, some of the planning, and I help in the cathedral kitchen sometimes, so I am quite familiar with it. I had to learn to be adaptable to any situation I was put in, whether it's manual or mental activities.
I volunteered to read to primary school children during my free hours of school. I worked on my communication skills towards children and learnt to understand the young mind better.
I helped run a club about computer science for girls, where I taught them how to code at a higher level than they were being taught. I demonstrated great planning and leadership skills since I helped make the presentation and delivered the lessons.
Being part of an F1 in Schools team lets me work on many skills, from teamwork and good planning to creativity and my computer design skills. I am the only girl in my team, but I learnt to overcome that and work well with everyone, communicating ideas and striving together towards our shared goals.
I was part of the Polish Scouts organisation in Norwich and was one of the leaders in my group. I learned to stay organised and plan activities for the younger teenagers, ones which improve their logical, physical and teamwork skills. I showed great leadership since I could be relied on and trusted.
I was selected to be a part of a small team who created 10-question quizzes on specific topics for other schools. We then tested other schools' teams and were tested by them on the same topic. My team won the Norfolk competition. The competition as a whole helped me work on skills of reading and problem solving, since we had to do our own research on topics given before the competition.
I took part in a science competition with my top set science class, where we put our science knowledge to the test in order to compete against other schools. We got into the Norfolk finals and got second place.
I was part of the school council, gathering feedback from the school and discussing changes with the rest of the school council. The teamwork helped me build communication skills, especially when I had to discuss and defend my opinions. I also had to be both an excellent speaker and listener.
