Pre – opening

I led strategic business planning and market analysis, managed facilities and equipment purchasing and recruited initial staff team. I also oversaw branding and promotion, developing and executing a marketing plan for the launch period that raised awareness and generated strong membership sales.

After opening

I managed daily operations and facilities, ensuring high standards of safety, cleanliness, administration and member experience. I led recruitment, training and staff development while building a positive and motivated team culture. On the commercial side, I focused on sales strategy, budgets and P&L management, while driving revenue growth, building partnerships, and strengthening member retention.

Managed day-to-day operations of Cowdenbeath and Dalgety Bay Sports & Leisure Centres, coordinated health promotion initiatives and partnered with Fife Primary Healthcare Trust to develop cardiac and exercise referral schemes across the region.

Oversaw 15 community centres across West Fife, managing a team of 30 staff to deliver sports and recreation programmes for the local community.

Managed day-to-day operations of a busy leisure centre with a team of around 50 staff, overseeing recruitment, training and staff development. Organised events and functions to enhance member experience and community engagement.
