As a dedicated educator with the NHS, I've had the wonderful opportunity to provide antenatal education to couples and organise training days for midwives. I've enjoyed sharing insights on Hypnobirthing techniques, the physiology of childbirth with peanut balls, and the benefits of aromatherapy during labour.
After completing my Award in Education and Training (AET), I gained essential knowledge to enhance my course offerings. This experience empowers me to tailor my teaching to meet the unique needs of my future students, ensuring they receive the support they deserve.
My commitment has consistently been to deliver evidence-based information and high-quality education to couples and healthcare professionals. I aim to provide courses that may help minimise emotional and physical trauma for those we support, ensuring they have the most positive experience possible. Aromatherapy effectively addresses these needs, and the oils I have curated for my course are safe for use during pregnancy, labour, and postpartum.
I intend to focus my course on birth professionals, including midwives, student midwives, doulas, and birth educators. It is also appropriate for diploma body massage therapists seeking to diversify their services by incorporating safe essential oils for new clients and diploma aromatherapists who possess the knowledge to use essential oils but wish to extend their practice to support pregnant and postpartum individuals.
