It was here that I have learned how to deal with difficulty customers with a respective and formal attitude, as well as solving their enquiries effectively.

It was here that I learned how to fry chicken and make bubble tea. I have developed communication and problem solving skills, which would help me to adapt to the aviation industry as I am experienced in customer service.

I started working in this takeaway since I was 16 for a weekend part-time for the duration of July 2013 until August 2020.

In this work environment, I have:

• Followed proper handling and sanitation procedures to comply with food safety standards and protocols.
• Prevented food spoilage by monitoring dates, rotating stock, and following proper storage procedures.
• Maintained clean, trash-free workspaces to maximize productivity and safety.
• Restocked supplies and prepared additional ingredients during downtime for expected busy periods.
• Chopped vegetables, cut up fruit, and prepared sauces when kitchen staff was busy.
• Monitored food temperatures and quality throughout shifts.
• Managed time to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously with ease.

I was given an opportunity to work at the court when I developed written communication skills and good face to face people skills. I also read documents, ensuring they are accurate, which also adds to my skill set.

During the summer holiday period, through working for this company. I have developed stronger teamwork and communication skills, because I have to communicate with them there and then, so we could work together in harmony to serve customers.
