• My role includes resuscitation of emergency cases using the ABCDE protocol. I conduct rapid clinical assessment of patients, make a clinical diagnosis and formulate a management plan.
• I also communicate patient care with them and also with managing consultants.
• Treating patients with care and evidence-based practice while prioritizing safety and following established standard operating procedures.
• I attend to a varied number of patients with medical emergencies ranging from head injury following road traffic accidents, acute appendicitis, acute asthma attack, diabetic emergencies, limb fractures, abdominal trauma.
• I conduct discharge of patients, write discharge summaries and plan follow up for patients who are admitted in the emergency department and hospital wards.
• In the course of discharging my duties, I engage in various procedures such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation, reduction and immobilization of fractures, intravenous access, femoral tap, Incision and drainage of abscesses, suturing lacerations and performing other relevant emergency procedures.
• I actively participate in all departmental activities including ward rounds, clinical presentations, teaching sessions, research work, morbidity and mortality reviews.
• Write clear, concise patient focused medical records for the treatment of patients with the Electronic Medical Record System using computers in keeping with data protection laws.

• I worked in the capacity of a Medical Officer at General Hospital Nasarawa under the supervision of the Medical Superintendent my duties include:
• OBSTETRICS AND GYNAECOLOGY.
• -Clerking, diagnosis and treatment of gynaecological and obstetric cases.
• -Involved in Management of emergencies including ectopic pregnancies, Abnormal Vaginal bleeding, Pelvic Inflammatory diseases, Pre eclampsia/Eclampsia, Postpartum Haemorrhage, Placenta Abruptio.
