Duties and responsibilities within my current position are providing a high level of customer service to the public by ensuring that they receive accurate information regarding there journey and also resolving any customer enquires as well as ticket irregularities.
Staff welfare is key in my role to ensure the staff are fit and in the right frame of mind to resume to their work after an absence. I would conduct a welfare meeting when the employee is absent then followed up by a return to work offering any extra support they required for example Cognitive behavioural therapy. Disciplinary and Grievances are also part of my role when required.
Special events which have taken place in Murrayfield, North Berwick, Leuchars, Reston and more I have taken part in assisting the revenue team to create manual barriers for revenue protection activities.
Weekly I receive Rosters for the Edinburgh area which I amend to suit our needs for that week and also amend in-house rosters for Edinburgh Waverley. This would include contacting staff for there weekly availability for overtime.
Gathering information for payroll is collected weekly. All staff in Waverley submit their timesheets which are checked and signed off then forwarded onto payroll once they have been authorised.
Ticket Examiner (Glasgow Central) duties included cash handling, revenue protection along with customer service.
Hospitality (Glasgow Queen Street) duties included cash handling, restocking your trolley and delivering a selection of food and beverage service throughout Scotland.
Retail Supervisor (Buchanan Galleries) duties included opening/closing procedures, customer service when required, daily/weekly banking along with weekly rostering.
