I wrote, directed, produced, and edited the 25-minute psychological thriller drama "The Cycle." This debut film has been honored with 10 wins and 3 nominations at various international film festivals, a testament to its quality and impact.
On October 25, 2023, I hosted a successful one-night premiere event for "The Cycle" at Rich Mix. The evening featured the film's premiere, followed by a panel Q&A session and a networking opportunity for industry visionaries.
I envisioned and created a chat show inspired by the 'Talking Heads' format, shining a spotlight on the diverse talents and rich stories within the Deaf community. The show provided a platform for members of this community to share their experiences overcoming societal barriers and achieving remarkable success.
Despite being filmed at Broadly Studios in London during the challenging Covid-19 restrictions, the show's high production values and compelling content stand as a testament to the strength of my vision and the resilience of the Deaf community.
My passion for writing, performing, and directing under my own production company has always burned brightly. I was fortunate to receive a commission from Arts Council England to create my first solo performance in 2020.
'Triple Oppression.' This short film details the struggles, aspirations, and accomplishments of a Black, Deaf woman growing up.
'Triple Oppression' has garnered widespread critical acclaim, earning four prestigious awards for Best Inspirational Short Film from the Los Angeles Film Awards, New York Film Awards, FilmCon Awards, and Festigious International Film Festival.
