• Volunteering at school lab: used to volunteer most days during time at Hayesfield Girls School in the lab doing things such as setting up practicals for other students, washing/sterilizing equipment and ensuring everything was stored correctly
• Undertaking of extra challenges: enthusiastically took part in 2023 Chemistry Olympiad and UKMT Senior Maths Challenge when offered the opportunity by school
• Practical lab experience at University of Bath: successfully completed work experience at the University of Bath in the life sciences department. Gained good baseline understanding of how a laboratory operates by engaging in practical tasks such as refilling liquid nitrogen canisters as well as shadowing a variety of professionals such as researchers within the department, glassblower, and delivery staff.
