• Providing strategic legal advice on technology transactions, company financing, regulatory compliance, and general commercial agreements. Reporting directly to General Counsel (who reports into CEO).
• Leadership: Managing five legal and compliance professionals. Driving digital transformation and operational efficiencies via procurement and implementation of AI-based legal tool.
• Strategic Legal Advisory: Advising on high-value commercial contracts and risk management across all stakeholders.
• Technology Transactions: Negotiation, drafting and review of outsourcing agreements, software licence agreements, cloud service agreements (including order forms, data processing agreements, terms and conditions), SaaS agreements, maintenance and support agreements and reseller and partnership agreements.
• Regulatory & Compliance: Ensuring FCA compliance and governance for a £6.9bn turnover financial services business.
• Data Protection & Information Security: Providing guidance on data protection compliance, including privacy notices, DPIAs, drafting data processing and sharing agreements and delivering internal training on data retention requirements.
• Employment: Advising on TUPE transfers, employment contracts (including post-termination restrictions), and settlement agreements.
• Finance & Capital Markets: Leading EMTN programme updates, bond issuances (£12bn in issue), and facility agreements, ensuring smooth execution alongside external counsel.

Managing all phases of litigation, including conducting legal research on case law and civil procedure rules, drafting legal documents such as pre-action correspondence, pleadings, and witness statements, negotiating settlements, preparing for trials in collaboration with counsel, maintaining client relationships, and advising clients on the merits of their claims.
