With over two decades of experience working in television, I have an extensive knowledge of factual programme making and I am a seasoned professional in sourcing and hiring top unscripted talent.
I am passionate about elevating individuals’ careers, and being a leader in diversity, equality and inclusion, making the work place a welcoming environment, where people feel supported and listened to.
I sourced candidates for all editorial roles from Executive Producer to Researcher, working across the whole of Raw’s incredible slate; from features, retrospective doc series, observational documentary, premium travelogue, character-led formats to reality. I also recruited for company development and non-production roles.
A small example of shows I have sourced and hired talent for include:
In Vogue: The 90's (Disney+ / Hulu) BAFTA nominee
Stanley Tucci Searching for Italy (CNN) Multiple EMMY winning series
Eva Longoria Searching for Mexico (CNN) EMMY nominee
Trainwreck: Woodstock 99 (Netflix) Grierson nominee
Trainwreck anthology series (Netflix)
Untold: Swamp Kings (Netflix)
The Most Hated Man on the Internet (Netflix)
The Body Next Door (Sky) RTS nominee / True Crime Award nominee
Lost Cities Revealed with Albert Lin (Nat Geo) Rockie Award nominee / Critics Choice Award nominee
Parole (BBC) New York TV & Film Award winner / Grierson nominee
In addition to talent sourcing, I was also Raw’s Access Lead. This entailed being at the forefront of making Raw an accessible place to work for current employees, and creating opportunities for external freelancers who identify as disabled or who have barriers to accessing the industry.
During my time in this role I created and implemented a company wide access rider for over 500 employees, completed an accessibility study on the office building and was Raw’s company Access Champion.
I was part of Raw’s D, E & I steering group and am extensively trained in this area. I regularly ran internal and external workshops to promote inclusion, and have relationships with a number of external providers and charities who work to foster access within the creative sectors.
I was also an integral part of driving other initiatives at Raw such as the in-house work experience scheme, Rise@Raw, and Trainee Researcher roles which we have on every production.
We have also ran placements in collaboration with Grierson, PACT, ScreenSkills, Mission Accomplished, City University and many others.
I was a member of ALL3 Reach, a pan company group helping to promote disabled voices.
Before my career in talent management I worked for a number of years as a freelancer, progressing to Casting Executive / Producer. I have credits on many well known productions, for streamers and broadcasters including Netflix, BBC, Channel4 and Discovery. These productions included commissions for Raw, Nutopia, Endemol, Maverick, RDF, Twenty Twenty and Two Four.
