Activities

  • Active Travel Ambassador, 2022-09-01, 2023-07-31, Fundraising volunteer for the environment, I partook in a governmental scheme during secondary school where me and an aggregate of around 10 people created a campaign for the use of zero emission transport to get to and from school. Throughout the program we had to illustrate creativity as we had to pitch to the Sheffield Government why our school, Bradfield School, should be allowed the funds to create and present our campaign. Once we successfully got the funds, we dedicated our time towards designing posters that were to be placed around the school and local village. During my time I volunteered for this, I learnt all about the emissions cars create when used unnecessarily. This has motivated me to make a difference in our world.
  • Silver DofE, 2022-01-01, 2023-12-31, Duke Of Edinburgh, I partook in the DofE scheme where I learnt many valuable skills and had to really challenge myself as I had not previously done bronze. This made me flourish as an individual.
  • The Scouts - Cubs Volunteer, 2022-01-01, ongoing, Volunteer for my local cubs scout group, I partake in volunteering at my scouts group as a young leader for cubs. I devote my time towards aiding the development of the cubs, ages 9-10½. This has been extremely meaningful as I originally began volunteering for my DofE but continued as I found a true meaning in what I was doing.
  • The Scouts and Girl Guiding, 2016-09-01, ongoing, I have participated in local groups my entire life, in both girl guiding and scouting, this has meant I have learnt important skills that have helped me to flourish as an individual.
  • The Soroptimists, 2024-09-01, 2025-07-31, Fundraising volunteer for the less advantaged women in society, I partook in local volunteering group who raise money for women who are in particularly difficult situations, for example being homeless and pregnant. This has meant I have had to publicly organize an event and partake.
  • School Council, Grenoside Primary School - Year 1, Nooklane Junior School - Year 4, King Edwards VII Sixth form - Year 13
