Providing planning and project controls services to the Sumitomo Electric UK Business unit on SEALINK(a 2 gigawatt (GW) high voltage direct current (HVDC) cable between Suffolk and Kent. It is approximately 138 kilometres (km) long, and the majority of the cables are out at sea.

Achievements:

• Responsible for the production of Bafo programme using Sumitumo Electric Industries procedures and compliant with National Grid requirements, managing change and ensure construction schedule is developed from first principles. project control set up Sub contractors Programme eveluation, stakeholder meetings and workshops, procurement support, risk management related to quantitative schedule risk analysis.

Projects:

Planing and project controls on the South Irish Sea Project is a 600MW offshore wind power project. It is planned in Irish sea, Ireland. Construction is likely to commence in 2026 and is expected to enter commercial operation in 2029.

Achievements

• Responsible for Development & Management the Early Development Programs within a Joint Venture Project on a 600MW Installation on the Coast of Southern Irish Sea.
• Development of a Baseline program for approval by the Client and continuous updating progress, including tracking all changes and ensuring all Key Milestones are met, ensuring all Interface Links with other programs are monitored for any slippages etc.
• Providing project planning support and attending weekly meetings with the Work Package Managers. Advising on planning strategy and principles during schedules reviews.
• Responsible for the examination of the different package plans, managed the interfaces, alignments and critical paths and developed areas where greater scrutiny was needed.
• Accountable for the delivery of all time-based reporting for director and board level on the project in both monthly and quarterly cycles.

• Company Overview: Moray West Offshore Wind Farm is an 882-MW development in the Moray Firth offshore eastern Scotland. It comprises 60 offshore wind turbines and two substations, all fixed on monopile foundations.
• Responsible for the development of the final Investment Decision of the Overall Master Program for the construction and sequencing of all work for 60 Wind Turbines.
• Duties include the initial development of the procurement & Installation Program for Foundation Engineering, Fabrication, Transport and Installation, WTG, the Offshore Consents program, Site Investigation and Surveys, Installation & Logistics, Operations & Maintenance, Program development from the initial tender process to full contract award (NTP), ensuring all interfaces are planned and linked to meet the various high level and key project milestones in preparation for Final Investment decision (FID).
• Producing various monthly reports, milestone analysis reports, and various miscellaneous reports as required, and also responsible for the management of the Offshore Substation and Array Cables Installation during the later phase of the project.
• Other duties have included the writing of Project Planning procedures, Package Manager's Reporting Procedures and overseeing the development of the Fabrication, Transport, and Installation with Inter Array Cables Package from tendering through to Civil construction, Export Cable Installation and Installation of all equipment and Substations master program.
• Facilitated and conducted Package Rehearsal of Concept Drill (ROC Drill) for Windfarm Package to support cost savings and reduce risk in the project.

• Led the production, development, and maintenance of cost-loaded project delivery programs, ensuring all third-party interfaces and compliance requirements were captured and integrated, including design, civil construction, procurement, installation & commissioning. Reporting obligations include weekly/monthly progress reports and Earned Value Analysis.
• Support the Project Boards to enable timely decision-making by Identifying opportunities, risks and potential delays to construction activities and advise impacts and mitigation. This is by reviewing contractor schedules from the logic, durations, percentage completions and resource requirements along with the breakdown of the larger activities into greater detail and assessment of procurement forecasts.
• Ensure correct processes are followed and programs meet contract standards by EPC Contractors. Baseline management, analysis of progress and management reporting.
• Developed a consortium Planning process and governance and implemented performance management with an overall success of 90% improvement in execution efficiency of the construction works.
• Prepared and submitted recommendation reports to the Client on Contractors' time and money claims relating to COVID-19 applying contract terms and international standards such as SCL Delay and Disruption Protocol and AACE Forensic Schedule Delay Analysis Recommended Practice 29R-03. The Principal Contractor was then granted 65 days of EOT against the original request of 105 days with the approval of the revised baseline schedule.

• Embedded within Galliford Try Southern Water joint venture working with the design and delivery teams to produce collaborative plans for AMP6 Sewage Treatment projects in Hampshire Area.
• Lead Planning and Scheduling for Water Non-Infrastructure £300m program, start to end planning covering design, procurement, construction, and takeover.
• All aspects of reporting.
• Provided expert services for an EPC contract ‘Sewage Treatment Works to create level 3 & 4 construction schedule in Primavera.
• Coordinate with M & E and civil subcontractors to update schedule and attend weekly meetings with home office and site staffs to discuss progress/slippage and advising them of control measures to mitigate delays.
• Reported project progress every four weeks, as agreed with the Client's reporting cycle (Clause 32.1 - Revising the Program) or amending the delivery strategy to accelerate the project to deliver early business opportunities/benefits (Clause 36 - Acceleration).
• In addition, raised Early Warnings (Clause 16 - EW), Compensation Events (CEs) (Clause 60.1- Compensation Events), impacted on the Critical Path or presenting project impact in the plans and implemented CE and/or Project Managers Instruction (PMI).
• Prepared Tender Programs (Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Resource, cost loaded and Earn Value Management), in accordance with the client's specification.

• Demonstrated benefits of tactical & strategic planning to the company and clients through the development, implementation, and creation of an Earned Schedule reporting system to measure, monitor and control progress because of improved forecasting reliability, on-time project delivery was improved by 50% and strengthened the company reputation.
• Achieved a full re-plan of the ‘Westernmost Rough Development' schedule going forward in the first month. This final phase of the project involved scenario planning to accommodate rework and delays due to adverse weather conditions offshore.
• Steered efforts towards the development of the BP Quad 204 hook-up & commissioning program and incorporated it with the installation program as part of the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS); created and integrated hook-up & commissioning schedule into the overall project schedule, allowing delays to be highlighted and the project saving additional 45 days.
• Provided overall project schedule, progress measurement, and change management leadership and expertise to the project Management Team. A fully cost-loaded and resource-loaded schedule was developed by using various planning techniques as required to enable better control of the schedule, but also feedback to the client where necessary. A large part of the role is the continuous analysis of the critical path to forecast and identify potential problem areas and propose potential solutions such that the Project Manager can initiate appropriate preventative and corrective action.

• Responsible for creating plans to coordinate all project elements and phases through a Master Schedule and Earned Value progress management system. Provided Board level status updates, briefings, and forecasts. Worked under significant time pressure to achieve vessel 'On Hire' deadline as the critical resource for a major West African oilfield development.
• Delivered integrated plan, capturing critical subsea interfaces. Updated risk schedule/register & updated the Project Dashboard capturing various performance metrics & earned value S-Curve + cost curves for issue to Apache UK monthly. 'What if' scenario planning based on vessel availability windows.
• Initiated Schedule Log register to evaluate contractor's schedules which has now been adopted by the Business Unit. The purpose of the Register is to evaluate any delays linked with changes and prepare the Extension of Time analysis, in case of delay due to Contractors and/or external (vendor) factors.

• Responsible for the redevelopment of the Overall Master Program on a Large-Scale Pharmaceutical Construction Project after a changeover in the Main Contractor, work involved re-structuring the program of works for 6 levels of the building, which included the overall Piping design & installation, Electrical Design and Installation, Equipment Design & Installation, Procurement, all Rooms, Laboratories and Offices through to Commissioning stage.
• Ensured all sequences of work were managed and progressed to track. Liaising with all Site Contractors, holding weekly Program review meetings.

• Developed project master schedule in line with the project requirements using Primavera P6 software.
• Identify project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks and targets to determine the resource requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of the project.
• Implement work schedule and monitor progress of work for timely execution of the project through daily/weekly/monthly reports.
