This is a volunteer role that takes approximately 15 hours a week, and started as becoming the volunteer visit officer.
Oversea the safe running alongside 2 full time staff to the standards set by the RNLI. Work within policies and systems in place set out by the Institution, HMCG and Maritime agencies. Work and encourage engagement within the community.

As a visit officer create a safe space for educational and inviting tours of the station, and on occasion outside community talks. Working at a level best suited to the age of the visitors to engage in an interesting and educational way.
Home based part time Sports Massage Therapy, to include some injury management when appropriate.
Maintain up to date confidential records, working within safe working practices.
Maintain up-to-date records of clients' progress and make plans for ongoing if necessary treatments.
Undertake ongoing training to improve knowledge and in line with governing body and insurance regulations.
Work in professional manner and with compassion and dignity for the clients.
Understand when to signpost for treatment outside of my training.
Worked over several sites with an employed team of 6, cleaning offices to high standards and within regulations. Built good working relationships with companies and adhered to strict confidentially within those sites.
Trained and worked alongside the team to create a good working systems.
In 2003 I trained for over a year to climb Kilimanjaro, I went alone to join a group of strangers who are still my friends, it took resilience and a large amount of humour to complete the climb.
