I am a Trainee Counsellor currently studying BSc Counselling and Psychotherapy at the University of Salford. I am thriving and loving the journey of learning and personal growth that the course offers. With many years of experience supporting children, families, and vulnerable individuals, I bring empathy, calmness, resilience, positivity, and kindness to my work.
I am reflective and committed to ongoing personal and professional development, with a genuine passion for growth. I work well as part of a team and am keen to respectfully integrate into a service, learning from existing practitioners while contributing positively. My voluntary experience supporting survivors of sexual abuse has deepened my understanding of trauma, listening skills, and the importance of meeting clients from their own perspective.
I also bring an awareness of holistic wellbeing, appreciating the different ways people respond to support. I am now seeking a placement where I can enhance my learning in a real-world setting, applying my skills and growing as a counsellor while making a meaningful difference to clients’ lives.
