Currently working as part of the HOOF team responsible as part of the team for all incoming prescriptions, manning the two incoming email inboxes, all HOOF related queries in the CSEHOOF folder and incoming calls on both the the prescriber line and patient holiday request line.


Data entry for processing all prescriptions sent to us via email.


Quality check/validation of all prescriptions at approval or rejection stage.


Liaising with clinicians to amend prescriptions where necessary, and to follow up with our no contact made folder.


Monitoring our cseHOOF folder for all queries received from other departments.


Taking prescriber calls giving customer advice, support and advice.


Taking holiday calls from patients and submitting the requests.


Escalating to team leader or clinical where necessary.

I worked within a team of three on the prescriptions validation team.

I was responsible for the incoming faxes and validating the prescriptions.

If they were to be approved these were distributed to team members, if rejected I was responsible for contacting the prescriber accordingly.

I was in daily contact with the contract managers as certain therapies in addition to others had to be approved by them.

I was responsible for logging all incoming faxes on an excel spreadsheet.

I was responsible for all incoming prescriber calls.

I was responsible for chasing outstanding prescriptions daily, even if contact had been made with the clinician.


In 2011 and 2012 I undertook the optional activity of travelling to Wolverhampton to train the new Air Liquide staff following the transfer of the South East contract to Dolby Vivisol and Air Liquide's new base being in the Midlands. I travelled here over the course of 4 months for weekly stays and assisted in the training of all new Air Liquide staff.

I was responsible for banking and handing money over to Securicor to bank the money and the filling of ATMS.


Previously, also at Gala Bingo I was the Team Leader of the booksales department. This required quick place sales serving up to 900 customers on a busy night and the need for quick mental arithmetic, stock keeping and rota management.
