The goal of this project was to build an interactive Sales and Inventory Performance Dashboard for the Sales and Operations teams. The dashboard provided real-time insights into sales trends, stock levels, and performance metrics, enabling better decision-making and inventory management. The solution was designed to automate reporting and reduce the time spent on manual data processing.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Data Gathering & Cleaning:
  Extracted sales data from the SQL database using simple SQL queries.
  Cleaned and prepared the data in Excel and Power Query to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  Merged multiple data sources (sales data, customer data, product data) into a single dataset for reporting.
• Report Design & Development:
  Created basic Power BI reports to display monthly sales figures, trends, and top-performing products.
  Designed visualizations like bar charts, pie charts, and KPI indicators to represent key metrics.
  Used Power BI slicers to enable users to filter data by month, region, and product categories.
• Data Transformation:
  Used Power Query to clean and transform raw data, such as removing duplicates, correcting date formats, and handling missing values.
  Created basic calculated columns in DAX to show metrics like total sales and sales growth.
• User Testing & Feedback:
  Presented the initial version of the dashboard to the sales team and gathered feedback on the design and functionality.
  Made updates to the dashboard based on user feedback, improving usability and visual appeal.
• Report Deployment & Support:
  Published the dashboard to the Power BI Service so that the team could access it online and get real-time updates.
  Set up a simple scheduled refresh to ensure the data was up-to-date every day without manual intervention.
