• Managed financial accounting and reporting for reinsurance contracts, including proportional and non-proportional treaties, as well as facultative reinsurance arrangements.
• To analyse financial results, assess variances against plan, prepare relevant reports and provide insightful commentary on findings.
• Quarterly analytics of underwriting activity supporting FP&A, underwriters, actuaries and group reporting.
• Ensure the SOX controls associated with the work performed are executed and documented to internal timelines.
• Work closely with the Head of Reinsurance on recurring and ad hoc requirements, including setting out reporting processes, operating manuals and data requirements in relation to new reinsurance projects
• Develop, implement, and maintain process documentation and controls over financial reporting.
• Lead process improvement initiatives and actively work to streamline reporting processes to provide prompt delivery of collateral and financial reporting
• Assist with finance transformation projects, including scoping, documenting, and testing by coordinating with internal and external stakeholders

• Work closely with underwriters, underwriting managers, and shared service centers to gather detailed business requirements for process improvements, system enhancements, or new product development.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and meetings with stakeholders to understand business needs and challenges.
• Document functional and non-functional requirements for underwriting systems, ensuring clarity and completeness for developers and technical teams.
• Create and maintain detailed business requirement documents (BRDs), use cases, process flow diagrams, and user stories to capture underwriting needs.
• Act as the liaison between the underwriting department and IT teams to ensure that system changes or new underwriting platforms meet business needs.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables, ensuring that initiatives are completed on time and within budget.
• Develop user manuals, training guides, and other documentation to support the adoption of new technologies.
• Help shape the company’s change roadmap to support the Target Operating Model

• Managed team size of 70 folks for US banking client - GL reconciliations, month end reporting, reclassify and allocation of journals, accrual postings
• Ensuring delivery of SLA`s/CSL’s as per SOW and resolving operational issues/challenges
• Handling communications and escalations on failures/risks identified and providing mitigation plans
• Lead account review meetings with internal and external stakeholders
• Ensuring effective allocation and utilization of resources across the
