Roles & Responsibilities:

• As a Lead Data Engineer, worked closely with Solution Architects to develop various solutions in ADE for Receivable Finance.
• Worked on requirement analysis, data analysis & impact analysis by understanding the business requirements.
• Created graphs on Ab Initio GDE for loading data from various sources like flat files, jsons, xmls into Oracle DB.
• Worked on MT910 and MT103 SWIFT messages and created records formats (Ab Initio dml files).
• Created scheduled jobs and file watcher jobs on Ab Initio Control Centre.
• Appreciated by client and business users for creating a payment return utility solution in Ab Initio GDE.
• Worked as an SME for various products of the ADE application during the decommission of legacy system.
• Worked as an Ab Initio Admin for a short interval for code migration, server patching and server role swap activities.
• Identified as one of the ADE experts in the project for my functional knowledge about the entire application.

Worked on data migration project for SunTrust Banks, which was basically a re-design of the decision support, analytics and reporting environment. As part of this the source model was migrated into data lake by developing a new set of connectors to load a complete copy of data. The objective of this project was to extract both the data at rest and data in motion into data lake’s raw zone using a repeated process.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Worked closely with the Solution Architect to create the design documents.
• Actively participated in the calls with the Business Analyst to understand the business requirements and provided valuable inputs.
• Analyzed the existing DIME code and implemented the same in Ab Initio using Atlas standards.
• Worked on Hadoop file systems and have hands on experience on basic Hadoop commands
• Worked on an existing reconciliation framework to keep track of all the records being extracted, transformed and loaded so that none of the data gets dropped anywhere.
• Founded loop holes in the existing framework and worked closely with the experts in resolving them.
• Worked on all phases of development from scratch as well as QA defect fixes.
• Worked on various change requests and promoting the change in other environments through tags.
• Provided support for running jobs at Pre-Production Environment

Worked as Ab Initio developer for an International Financial Reporting Standard project for Vodafone Group, which involved loading customer's contract details in database and transforming them into a specific format for SAP RAR system where revenue calculations happen to support business decisions.

Roles and Responsibilities :-

• Onshore client facing role to understand the business requirement and transforming them into design documents which involved a business trip to Vodafone's Dusseldorf's office.
• Actively participated in the daily and weekly status calls to resolve all project related queries and issues.
• Developed Ab Initio graphs for transforming and loading source xml files.
• Adopted MFS i.e. multi file system approach to reduce the time taken for loading of the whole process and in that process learned in depth the MFS processing and execution system.
• Created an audit framework in Oracle SQL to keep a check on the xml files processed.
• Involved in development, UT(Unit testing) PT(Product testing), IT(Integration testing) and IIT(Interface Integration Testing) .

Worked in Datoteca project for Citi Group which involved migration of existing MAINFRAME based process to Ab Initio GDE Framework. Successfully developed and deployed three data marts.

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Analyzed the entire existing process, modelled and developed the entire process afresh preserving the underlying business requirements of the existing code
• Actively participated in the daily and weekly status calls to resolve all project related queries and issues
• Analysis included the deconstruction of the existing COBOL based process and creating ETL detailed design documents
• Adopted MFS i.e. Multi file system approach to reduce the time taken for loading of the whole process and in that process learned in depth the MFS processing and execution system
• Developed entire Ab Initio ETL process with focus on key areas like SDLC best practices, accountability at record level, performance tuning and by developing controlled processing with more informative logs
• Tested and performed scheduling of graphs/plans using Autosys scheduler
• Prepared the project release documents including the Autosys box document, Autosys JIL document, installation manual and the Readme document which were also part of the project delivery
