As a Front-End Engineering Lead, I drive the strategic vision and technical execution for unified digital channels and mobile innovation within Commercial Banking. My focus is on delivering exceptional user experiences, optimizing performance, and building scalable, resilient front-end solutions, primarily leveraging AWS for cloud infrastructure and GitLab for DevOps.


  • Pioneered and implemented a "White-Labelled" Solution Architecture using a micro-frontend approach.
  • Orchestrated the successful, on-time delivery of critical front-end initiatives, including new brand rollouts and platform modifications.
  • Significantly enhanced the resiliency and observability of critical front-end channels, particularly the Bankline Mobile App. My work involved deploying proactive error monitoring (e.g., Sentry, Dynatrace), performance profiling tools (e.g., Lighthouse, Web Vitals), and comprehensive logging solutions (e.g., ELK stack hosted on AWS EC2/ECS), alongside introducing circuit breakers and retry mechanisms to mitigate downstream failures. Monitoring is integrated with AWS CloudWatch and alerts managed via GitLab's operational dashboards.
  • Developed and executed the overarching mobile development strategy for native applications (iOS and Android). This included establishing best practices for native UI/UX design, performance optimization, and robust mobile security protocols, ensuring a top-tier native banking experience.
  • Reduced Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for front-end operations by leading the design and implementation of a Server-Driven UI (SDUI) architecture. This innovation allowed for dynamic UI updates and feature deployments without requiring frequent and costly mobile app store releases
