As an assistant store manager, my duties:
- Monitored daily sales and identified slow-moving products to enhance inventory management
- Inventory management- by planning BOH organising, actioning transfers of the products, new lines action plans and stock count and new delivery receiving using RFID guns and tracking actions on the system
- Using and training the team on Fiori systems to track stock, process and hand-over orders to customers including process of online returns
- Good knowledge, understanding and passion of VM , supporting the store manager and merchandisers to improve store performance, sales and visual support of the shop floor bringing necessary decisions for operational actions according to store communications in Store-IQ
- Trained staff on product knowledge and sales techniques, with exceptional knowledge of POS and I-phone online sales and in store to improve overall selling skills and close sales in order to achieve sales goals and KPI's
- Ensured compliance with health and safety standards to maintain a safe shopping environment
- Supporting the Store Manager to drive category performance with supervision of supervisors sales team by giving effective feedback to ensure great customer experiences.
- Driving and supporting sales goals on a daily basys and providing real-time performance coaching to drive the overall brand expectations
- Managing the shop floor making sure every customer has been greeted, approached and served to ensure best possible service given the best brand experience in line with brand strategies leading by example
- Assisting with the opening and closing of store which includes securing doors, windows and merchandise, successful alarming of store and POS procedures as well as banking procedures on opening and closing, managing safe floats, and reporting to Store support team on weekly basis
- Working closely with store manager supporting with recruiting and leading integration of new employees to develop and retain talented individuals by recognising and rewarding performance based on set up monthly development plan and regular performance reviews (3-6-9 meetings)
- In absence of Store Manager, taking full responsibility of the store; team management, stock management, resolving and reporting technical issues, VM support
- Reporting to the Area Managers by regular trade meetings and plans for meeting weekly targets celebrating stores success and supporting other stores in operational needs
- Handled complex customer service issues; (i.e. returns, dissatisfied customers complaints, repairs, after-sales and order issues)
