Umar Rizwan

I am a first-year aerospace Engineering student looking for a one year industrial placement to apply my skills and broaden my knowledge in aerodynamics, softwares and Mechanical projects. I am a highly disciplined and organised individual effectively balancing my degree, having active participation in societies, and a part-time job. I am proficient in using software like Siemens NX for 3D modelling on various projects and have hands-on experience designing and producing a gearbox for a small-scale wind turbine. I am highly enthusiastic about applying my hands on knowledge from university and previous engineering experiences to Mechanical engineering challenges. I can also manage complex data as well as undertaking administrative and programme managements tasks. I have an insane amount of obsession in sports cars, especially the aerodynamics of the cars giving them advantageous opportunities in which i look to structure and learn about it on a deeper level.
