My Current Employment is with Geomap LTD as an Assistant Utilities Surveyor. I am still developing my skills in the role but have already acquired the following skills:

• Used Electromagnetic Frequency and Ground Penetrating Radar location equipment for identifying utility lines on site.
• Completed Desktop Surveys, using statutory drawings as a guide for expectations of site work.
• Operated Global Positioning System equipment to log utilities and base plans for later processing
• Processed drawings using LSS and CAD
• Additionally operated Laser Scanners for use in Building and Topographical Surveys

I was hired as an Assistant Manager at Zizzi in 2023 to assist the existing senior restaurant management team in achieving our operational KPI targets.

My responsibilities there included:

• Maintained smooth-running business operations by delegating priorities to staff abilities.
• Monitored health and safety measures for guaranteed compliance.
• Led and managed administrative staff to maintain smooth daily operations.
• Designed and implemented training to further develop staff based on business goals.
• Organised financial and operational data to help with yearly budgeting and planning.

I started in 2016 working the dining area as a customer care assistant part time after sixth form. In 2017 I was promoted to crew trainer, to a shift manager in 2018 and assistant manager in 2021. Working up through the ranks provided skills with customers, the team around me and hitting targets set by others. The skills I learnt in role as an assistant manager are as follows:

• Recruited, interviewed and hired high-performing individuals, developing passionate, dedicated teams.
• Carefully managed and recorded cash and credit transactions, diminishing financial discrepancies.
• Trained staff on best practices to achieve optimal productivity.
• Initiated inventory control measures to manage and replenish stock, maintain costs and meet customer demands.
• Assisting on financial control of the business and implementing cost control measures, reducing controllable costs.
• Motivated management and staff teams to consistently deliver high quality, customer-focused service.
• Worked with store manager to develop action plans to increase performance and exceed sales KPIs.
