I am a sound engineer, focusing on live sound production.
Responsible for miking up the band and conducting sound checks to ensure optimal audio quality. As well as monitoring noise levels from outside the venue.
Program lights live during performances, enhancing the overall audience experience.
Developed skills in audio engineering, lighting programming, and teamwork in a dynamic environment.

I volunteered at the 10th anniversary of Shynefest by DJing and creating content. Across the weekend I not only DJ on the Future Headliners Stage and Silent Disco Tent, I also helped provide content for the social media pages with drone footage and backstage videos.

I am currently part of FCoT Radio, preparing content. The plan is for me to have my own weekly show, but the studio is currently under construction.

Every week I attended WYT and have programmed lights and mapped projectors using the QLab software. I was also the spot operator for the new show "Branson" at Woking Drama Festival 2024, where I was nominated 2nd for the best lighting award.

I controlled, designed, rigged and programmed the lights and sound for school shows and improved my understanding of how to use the technology. A recent example was in July 2023 when I designed and programmed the lights for "Shrek the Musical Jr", and again in 2024 when I went back in after exams for "Matilda the Musical Jr" using the FLX S24 Lighting console.

I spent my weekend at Scoutabout (A festival-like event for over 5000 Scouts and Guides in Surrey) and I was working with the Scoutabout FM team to run the pop-up radio station. I presented 4 live shows across the weekend, interviewing people and editing packages together using Audacity software.

• I spent the week helping at the "Summer youth production" with children aged 8-17, and called the sound cues for "Bugsy Malone"
• I helped source props, move scenery, mic up the band, and provide actors with headset mics.
• I completed the "Get-In" and constructed the set from flattage

• Provided friendly, enthusiastic support to pupils during lessons.
• Observed pupils closely in the classroom environment to foster engagement.

• During my work experience, I learnt how to put on a radio show and how to broadcast one
• I used the sound mixer and broadcasting to put on my own 1 hour show at the end of my work experience.
