Retail (CPG) domain project

• Worked in hybrid methodology that combined elements of Scrum and Kanban, known as Scrumban.
• Utilized Git to efficiently track changes during development of PBIX reports, ensuring effective version tracking, facilitating collaboration, and enabling thorough peer review.
• Developed intricate measures, with most important one focusing on consolidating availability metrics from various sources and levels of detail into unified Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Utilized Tabular Editor to create and modify measures and organized them into folders based on their respective functions.
• Extensively utilized ALM toolkit to monitor changes and facilitate addition of new metrics in Power BI online cube.

• Led and managed 3-person BI Team, driving successful project outcomes.
• Played critical role in end-to-end execution of product, driving seamless implementation and optimizing BI workflow.
• Led and facilitated requirement and metric analysis sessions, conducted data mart modelling, managed semantic data model, roles, and access, oversaw Power BI dashboard development, conducted UAT sessions and successful release of product.
• Collaborated with key stakeholders to analyze supply chain, eCommerce, digital shelf, and advertising data to developed Power BI dashboards and ensured smooth functioning of over 50 reports and dashboards on Microsoft Power BI platform.
• Designed engaging real-time sales tracking dashboard for client, specifically for Amazon's Prime Day and Black Friday events. Monitored sales and relevant metrics for over 2000 SKUs on hourly basis. Additionally, developed validation dashboard to ensure accuracy of data tracked.

• Developed SSRS scheduled reports and critical Power BI dashboards with complex metric logic and DAX calculations.
• Led re-design of all existing dashboards and reports to align with updated business objectives and branding.
• Fixed complicated bugs and supported ad-hoc requirements.
• Leveraged expertise in Adobe Photoshop, Power BI, and graphic design (acquired during college) to create engaging newsletters with captivating infographics. Distributed these newsletters to business's eCommerce distribution list via email, delivering informative content to stakeholders.
• Guided and supported fellow analysts in validating and analyzing data for a successful ETL technology migration from SSIS/SQL Server to Databricks. Ensured seamless transition and consistency of dashboard data during switch.

Technology migration - Retail Domain

• Led BI team for a regional business unit, ensuring alignment with globally used technology under that account to use Microsoft technology stack.
• Successfully transformed over 40 existing reports in Sisense and manual excel reports into Power BI dashboards and SSRS Paginated reports.
