International Research Experience

Princess Taghrid Institute, Amman, Jordan, June - August 2018

In MA International Development, my dissertation was placement based in Amman, Jordan., I carried out a qualitative research study with 32 participants, Exploring the relationship between conflict and child marriage among Syrian Refugees in Jordan' (Roes, 2018)., I developed all aspects of the research including: research design, developing research instruments, ethical considerations and seeking ethical approval for research, data collection, data analysis and producing a high quality report of findings and recommendations.

University of Sheffield Group Research Project:, Evaluation of the impact the Familias del Buen Vivir programme has on empowering local families., Designed written questionnaire and interviewed programme recipients and staff., Analysed results and made recommendations.
