In my spare time, I work with several charities improving the lives of so many in the community. 10 years ago I set up the National Windrush Awards, to celebrate diversity and recognition of Windrush seniors and their contribution to Britain. I also set up a community initiative Windrush Payback which renovated/refurbished homes for the elderly. I am currently involved in a charity called Lifeline helping the homeless, and championing community cohesion. I enjoy getting involved with community action to solve problems and bring about positive change.
My wife and I are currently foster parents which we have been doing for the last 6 years and currently looking to adopt a child next year.
