Summary

I am a motivated and compassionate professional working across Personal Advisor, Support Worker, and Mentoring functions, supporting children, young people, and care leavers, including those with SEN and additional needs. Rather than operating within a single role, my work is holistic and integrated, focused on guiding young people through key life transitions and helping them build safe, independent, and fulfilling futures.

My current practice sits within the leaving care and supported accommodation sector, where I deliver tailored one-to-one support, develop Pathway and support plans, complete risk assessments, and work closely with multi-agency professionals to ensure safeguarding, stability, and positive outcomes. Relationship-building is central to my approach; I act as a consistent mentor and advocate, supporting young people to develop life skills, emotional resilience, and confidence as they move towards independence.

Alongside this, I support young people with education, training, employment, and wellbeing, drawing on my background in employability coaching, learning support, and rehabilitation. I am experienced in identifying barriers, adapting support for individuals with SEND, ADHD, and complex needs, and connecting young people with the right services at the right time.

I also bring strong leadership and mentoring experience, supporting staff, contributing to reflective practice, and working in line with statutory duties, safeguarding legislation, Ofsted frameworks, and national care regulations. I am known for my strong communication skills, emotional intelligence, and ability to remain calm and effective in complex situations.

I am deeply committed to working within the children’s services, leaving care, mentoring, and youth support sector, and I am motivated by roles that allow me to build meaningful relationships, promote independence, and make a lasting difference in young people’s lives.
