I am a dedicated and eager Trainee Vehicle Technician with a strong foundation in workshop procedures and basic servicing knowledge. I demonstrate exceptional problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards. People would say that I am known for my reliability, timekeeping, and effective team collaboration with technicians. Additionally, I am dedicated to maintaining workplace cleanliness and safe tool use while aspiring to further develop my technical expertise in a dynamic environment.
I had an interest in vehicle mechanics, so I decided to pursue this interest at Northbrook College, Shoreham-By-Sea and I completed the qualification for Level 1 Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair. During my level 1, in November of 2024, I began work experience at a garage called Connaught C Limited in Hove for one day a week. This was in order to complete my course requirements for 20 hours of working experience in an automotive garage. After a few weeks had passed of completing this work experience, the garage offered me a part-time position as a trainee mechanic. During my time there I have learnt valuable and practical hands on skills which have expanded my knowledge on the automotive trade. In September of 2025 whilst continuing to work at the garage 16 hours a week on average, I began my qualification for Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair at Northbrook College, Shoreham-By-Sea. Since then, I have completed my level 2 qualification and I have gained an increased amount of understanding on both the theoretical and practical aspects of the trade. I aspire to continue in this line of work and expand my skill set further, with either a Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair course or with an apprenticeship.
