  • During COVID I became Project Manager for the installation of a new office building on site in Tidworth. Liaising with all trades the site manager, Veolia Senior Management and IT bringing the project in on time and on budget.
  • I managed the planning and prioritisation of clean and wastewater work orders using the Hexagon EAM/INFOR system.
  • I was the subject matter expert for Hexagon EAM within the team. Downloading reports, adding and removing assets and carrying out monthly stock takes.
  • I prepared reports weekly for team managers showing outstanding works and where necessary chasing these works. This ensures that the teams reach their monthly target of 95% or above for completed works.
  • I handled enquires for utility plan requests, these come from a variety of sources i.e. MoD, County Councils Highways Departments, Aster Housing Association, MUJV, Aspire Helpdesk.
  • I was the subject matter expert for raising road opening notices with Wiltshire and Hampshire County Councils using the GOV.UK system (Plan and manage roadworks - StreetManager). If this was not completed correctly and on time there are cost implications in the form of fixed penalty notices.
  • I ensured task allocation and consistent communication with MUJV, MoD and relevant Councils, gaining the correct authority/permission for all works planned.
  • I was able to raise purchase orders using Workday.
  • I was in regular communication with the MoD, Aspire Defence, DIO, Vivo/Pinnacle, Antac Support Services, Hampshire & Wiltshire Councils, other utilities, contractors, and internal colleagues. Making sure that all stakeholders were given regular updates on outstanding and completed works.
  • I oversaw the issue and ordering all PPE for staff and contractors, making sure that everyone has exactly what the need to carry out their work.
  • I arranged the annual Fire Extinguishers servicing, that involved organising the collection and return of all fire extinguishers from all sites.
  • I was involved in biodiversity initiatives, from building a hibernaculum, building different types of bird boxes and bat boxes to use on various Veolia sites and building bug hotels.
  • I deputised as Office Manager when they were out of the office - Managing post and deliveries. Meeting visitors to site and ensuring they receive a site induction. Being the first point of contact for customers who have a problem with their water or wastewater service, liaising with our operational teams to resolve. Coordinating with our out of hours call-handling service to ensure customer calls are transferred. Liaising with our key clients about customer contacts and keeping records of tasks and outcomes.

  • During my time in the civil service I had several roles where: I was responsible for Information Management, estate management including IT equipment and health & safety for a team of 60.
  • I was responsible for moving two different branches from their offices in Upavon to Andover, this included planning the desk space on the new floor plates in Andover. I arranged all aspects of the move using all resources available to me.
  • I over saw the installation of the International Liaison Officers national computer systems so that from day one they were able to communicate with their respective countries.
