I work as the Admin Manager for Secure and Forensic Services. I am line manager to 13 staff at senior level and cover in total 35 staff. As Secure and Forensic Admin we support various teams including 5 Forensic Mental Health Wards (Low and Medium Secure Units), Norfolk and Suffolk Forensic Community Mental Health Team, a Central Referrals and Cash Office Team and the Management Admin Team who cover our Directors and Leadership Team within our locality. I have responsibility for providing monthly management supervision, recruitment, training, monitoring and managing sickness, annual leave approvals and have involvement with budgets and some reporting. My work requires me to build good working relationships with people from all walks of life, both internally and externally and having good communication skills is essential.
