I currently manage the global expansion and distribution of our framed products, working with our sales teams to gain retailers and distributors across various markets and regions. I have taken the framing business from conception in 2010 through to the multi-million pound business it is today.


In 2021 I took over the framing business in its entirety and drove frame sales to new customers in new territories and countries.


Full autonomy as given and tasks include :

  • Responsible for all areas of procurement with an annual spend in excess of £4,500,000 (stock and raw materials) and I reported directly to the Managing Director
  • Staff reviews (3 members of staff) including KPI for each staff member
  • Implementation of a procurement strategy for procurement from China of ceramics, glassware & gifting.


Including:


  • Responsibility for all goods manufactured meeting with licensing approval
  • Ensuring all goods ordered and imported from China arrived on time and within budget
  • That all goods and factories are ethically compliant and meet with relevant testing standards
  • Ensuring all pre-shipment inspections were completed prior to shipping dates
  • Handling all inbound shipments, paperwork and trade finance
  • Building relationships and worked to have exclusivity with vendors

General Purchasing:

  • Ensuring all services are scheduled for tender and supplier performance monitored to ensure they meet with company requirements and service level agreements are adhered to.
  • Operational wins by reducing wastage, increasing production output and improving stock holding
  • Stock management to suite M.O.M trends and removal of JIT purchasing (unless relevant)
  • Implementing stock in hand without cost at vendors premises, therefore reducing stock value on balance sheet
  • Project management and working with a designated team for new in-house facilities including photographic production, sublimation mug production, framing, print on demand
  • Purchasing and financing Capex equipment
  • Analysis of General Ledger to target all costs and reduce overall spend
  • Market & competitor analysis
  • Installation and implementation of new facilities and that they are on time and on budget
  • Print management of both printed product (Litho, screen and sublimation) and packaging
  • Product development
  • Courier and freight cost are reviewed to ensure best outcome by department (B2B, B2C, exporting and importing)
  • Waste Management costs to be kept to a minimum and targeted zero to landfill. Internal processes reviewed as well as contract cost, ensuring best outcome
  • Evaluating the packaging used to despatch goods and rationalising packaging to reduce the number of multi box deliveries
  • Ensuring B2C packaging is fit for purpose, cost effective and supports margin
  • Point of sale display designed (cardboard, MDF & metal) based on customer requirement or for general use, ensuring short ROI.

  • On initially commencing work with Master Services Group my sole responsibility was the running of the Purchase Ledger, this including all ledger maintenance, preparing payment runs and resolving disputes
  • The availability of moving into a Purchasing roll became available and I then ran the Purchase Ledger alongside the procurement role

Personal

My weekends and evenings are usually spent walking, and enjoying the outdoors with my husband and dog. I also enjoy shopping and days out with my daughters and usually have a few projects planned, either upgrading something at home or planning our next adventure. I enjoy reading, holidays (I am attempting to learn Spanish) and spending time with my family and friends.
